Mobile TV
Mobile TV uses a nonstandard bit of spectrum to ensure that the streaming of your favorite flicks is uninterrupted. Instead of downloading the data over AT&T’s 3-G network, the Qualcomm-developed technology operates primarily on the old UHF television band, though it does tap into the 3-G network in order to get started.
The result is that there’s virtually no buffering and programming starts up within a few seconds. On the Vu’s brilliant 3-inch screen we found picture quality to be insanely clear and frame rates to be smooth as the ice cubes in a tumbler of 30-year-old bourbon.
There are three phones that are Mobile TV capable; the Samsung Eternity, LG Vu, and Lg Invision. There are two different Mobile TV packages to choose from. Included in the $30 package is unlimited Mobile TV, Web browsing and CV mobile video along with CBS Mobile, CNN Mobile Live, Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile, Fox Mobile, MTV, NBC 2Go, NBC News 2Go, Nickelodeon and PIX (Sony Pictures). The Basic Package, at $15, gives you CBS Mobile, CNBC, Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile, FOX News, MSNBC, MTV, NBC2Go, Nickelodeon, CNN Mobile and Pix.
Cellular Video
Like Mobile TV, Cellular Video provides you with a wide range of programming choices, including but not limited to TV to Go, News, including FOX News clips and broadcasts from CNN and NBC, Local weather forecasts in 100 cities, Sports, Entertainment, HBO MobileSM, and HBO Family MobileSM. There are many programming choices, but the downside is that you must pay an additional fee to access those services (as opposed to Mobile TV, which is all you can eat, depending on the package you select of course).
The nice thing about Cellular Video is that it is available on a much wider variety of phones; in fact any 3G capable phone that is signed up for a Data Unlimited plan has access to Cellular Video service. The Data Unlimited Package is $15 per month.
The one downside to Cellular Video is that it runs off AT&T's 3g network, and is coverage dependent. Due to the services coverage dependence, there is a chance that your CV service will buffer at times.

Yes, the Eternity is Music ID capable. Music ID is a pay per use service that allows you to identify a song by entering #43 and putting your phone earpiece up to the song for about 15 seconds. It costs $.99 per successful song identification and is billed directly to your monthly AT&T bill.

The biggest difference between the Eternity and the Impression is the form factor. The Eternity is a touch screen, but does not have the physical qwerty keyboard (it does have a landscape mode where you have access to a touch screen full qwerty), whereas the Impression has both a touch screen and a physical slide out qwerty keyboard.
The screen is another difference, but it's not necessarily the brightness. The Impression is equipped with an AMOLED screen, which is a next generation in LED screens. It offers similar brightness, sharpness, etc., but uses much less battery life than traditional cell phone LED's. This, obviously, translates into better battery life for the Impression overall. Of course, battery life will always vary with how you use your phone, the more you talk, fore instance, the less battery life you will have.

Defintely. The Samsung Eternity supports Stereo Bluetooth. So if you have stereo Bluetooth device it should pair with the cell phone and you can start listening to music via the Bluetooth device.

Yes it does have a music player. It also has a 3.5mm headset jack so you can use your own stereo headphones to listen to music on the Eternity. Additionally, it has MusicID for identifying songs heard on the radio, as well as XM Radio (to use with a subscription to the service) and Pandora.

If you are upgrading your current AT&T phone number, you will need to sign a new 2 year contract, but you do not need sign up for a data plan. Please note, if your plan is no longer available with AT&T, you will need to select a new voice plan as well.

The Eternity is a really nice phone, especially for the price. Extremely feature rich. Small form factor. It is really the only AT&T phone currently available that meets all of your criteria.

Yes, the firmware can be upgraded on the Eternity, although the timing of a firmware upgrade would be dependent on Samsung. It can be done over the air generally, although you may have to go into an AT&T store. Currently, phones shipped from LetsTalk ship with the most current firmware.
Yes, it supports speed dialing. Follow the steps below:
1. From the standby screen, press Contacts
2. Press the Contacts drop down arrow, located in the top right corner, then press Favorites
3. Press Add then press the desired Contact
4. Continue step 3 until all Favorites have been added
