I don't know why people keep referring to the Centro as an "entry level" smartphone; it is basically a smaller version of the Treo. It has all of the features of the Treo, and the keyboard is a lot easier to type on than you would expect. The browser on the phone is adequate, but I have seen better. The best thing about the phone is actually the Palm OS 5 platform. Even though it doesn't look nice and not good at multitasking like Windows Mobile, there is plenty of third party software to more than compensate for this. If you are a power user know how to customize your phone, you can have it looking and operating better than any Blackberry you will see. My only complaints are that since the phone is so slick, it makes it a little difficult to hold, and since it is smaller than a Treo, the battery life takes a hit. Other than that it is a terrific phone with a great operating system.

I just got my new Palm Centro today and I LOOOOVE it! I think the style of the phone is great. I got the pink one and it's the cutest thing ever! The pictures are soo clear and so is the sound. There are a lot of different ring tones to choose from and the touch screen is very nice. The only thing that I don't like is the buttons are sooo tiny and my fingers aren't. I had the blackberry pearl before and have to say I like this one much better, Hope this helps you make up your mind about getting one.

Love this phone. I had other smartphones and my last one was the "Wing", I do not regret switching to my new Palm Centro. Easy to use, practical, small but durable size (just perfect).

I just got this phone and tried out everything. Its very easy to get use to if you have never used a palm. The call quality is great. The internet is blazing fast and the sprint tv is awesome also (although it does pixelate a little). I do recommend getting a sprint power vision pack if you get this phone.. Otherwise its just a regular phone. So to wrap it all up, the palm Centro is definitely worth getting, you wont regret it.

I previously had the HTC Shadow from T-mobile. I thought the smaller screen and keys for texting on the Palm Centro were not going to work for me. It just took about three days to get used to. The battery life for just phone calls is great. Overall this was a good choice for me. The service provider is Sprint and I have yet to drop a call or lose a data connection. I would recommend subscribing to the unlimited data plan. The touchscreen works great for dialing, accessing internal applications, and even without the stylus, I can navigate my data. The quality of the camera is also good.

I love this Palm Centro. The only thing is that it is a little bit complicated to use especially the Ptunes software. It took me a while to figure it out. It has a lot of features and you need to make time to read the manual so that you know everything that the phone can actually do. Otherwise, it's a really nice phone and nice size. I really love it.
